During a talkback session on the Future of Policing the newly appointed Police Minister Nick Herbert informed Conference that whilst they would be reviewing pensions all that has been accrued will not be touched. When asked the direct question on taxing commutations, the Minister said that to his knowledge this wasn’t being talked about. His facial expressions gave a different answer!!
