Nestled at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in an area of OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY

Abbey Farm has a few hundred years of history tucked under its belt!  Recently refurbished, this lovely holiday cottage has been finished to a high spec with careful design to create a cottage with a bright, sunny aspect. The cottage is ideal for 4 but if you have an extra child or two or perhaps an overnight visitor, the sofa bed can be used.
With a footpath and bridle way a few hundred yards from the cottage, a cycle path at the farm entrance which links to the Phoenix Trail cycle route and private walks and fishing along the River Thame that’s runs through the farm, you have much to enjoy on your doorstep!
Situated on a 270 acre farm the cottage has a self-contained drive, enclosed garden and a south-facing terrace.  The cottage views are simply quite lovely with sheep grazing in the fields, horses in the paddocks and beyond to the Oxfordshire Golf Course and the Chiltern Hills.  There are pretty bantam chickens and dogs too.
Oak clad Red Kite Cottage is the oldest part of the original farm featuring stunning elm beams throughout, an oak floor upstairs and downstairs, the floor is limestone with under-floor heating. The vaulted ceiling adds to the character in the bedrooms and the bathroom is well designed to utilise every corner incorporating the fabulous beams with a bath and walk-in shower cubicle.
